The Gepida Miliare is both a response to user demands appearing on the market and a challenge to innovatively expand our range. With the increasing expansion of urban mobility, more and more people are joining the bicycle transportation network, not just residents of city centers, but also those in the suburban areas. Therefore, we saw it justified to create a bicycle that combines the comfort and performance of electric bikes with the compact design essential for commuting. The low frame size, 20-inch wheels, short wheelbase, and above all, the quickly lockable, Clickfix system-enabled construction allow the Miliare to perform well where other bicycles fall short.
It can be transported on public transport and in the trunk of our car. Even when folded, it is not difficult to move, as it can be rolled by holding the handle-equipped saddle. Its vertical steering column can also be folded down, making our bike even more compact and package-like.
For this experience, we can choose from two different models – our simpler Miliare is equipped with a chain drive, while the Pro version features a Gates belt drive and a suspension seatpost. Both of our models come with a Nexus 8-speed shifting system, a Bosch Active Line Plus Gen3 motor, and 500 Wh Powertube batteries. The agile urban cruiser's stopping power is ensured by MT200 Shimano disc brakes and 160 mm discs. The reflective striping on the sidewalls of the Schwalbe Big Apple tires enhances our safety during night cycling. The included rack and fenders provide additional comfort for everyday use.
In terms of storage and transportation, it offers a truly universal, multifaceted solution—it can be easily taken with us on public transportation (train, subway), on a motorhome excursion, or even on a boat trip, and it can also be a space-saving choice in smaller apartments.
